Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashramam

Srirangam Srimad Andavan Ashram was established nearly 325 years back for the propagation of the Vasishtadhvaitham philosophy as propagated by Sri Bhagavad Ramanuja and Sri Nikamantha Maha Desika. There have been eleven peetathipathies adorning this Ashramam (including the present Andavan Sri Rangaramanuja Maha Desikan also known as Srimushnam Andavan).

Patasala

The Vedha Padasala activity established in 1968 at Srirangam is imparting Vedic & Sanskrit education along with oriental learnings like sastra, sutras etc.

College & Schools

HH decided that it is necessary to impart career based education to BC/OBC/MBC/SC/ST students from rural & semi urban areas

Ghosala

The new Goshala at Amur will be spread over 1.50 acres with scope for further expansion. At the initial stage, the Goshala shall house up 350 to 450 cows.

Sri Ranganatha Paduka Vidhyalaya Trust (SRPVT) which runs, Veda padasalas, Schools, a full-fledged college and Ghosala was founded at the divine direction of HH. Sri Vedantha Ramanuja Mahadesikan Sri. Thirukudanthai Andavan of Srirangam Srimad Andavan Periyashramam in the year 1968 by Sri T.S. Rajam, son of Sri T.V. Sundaram Iyengar founder of the TVS Group as the Founder Trustee.

Other eminent trustees at the time of formation of the Trust included Sri T.S. Santhanam, son of Shri. T.V. Sundaram Iyengar; Smt. Prema Srinivasan, wife of Sri. T.S. Srinivasan; Sri K. Venkatachari, son of Late Sri R. Krishnamachariar; and Sri M. Srinivasan, son of Late R. Madhavachariar, who later become the Judge of the Supreme Court of India. Sri T.S. Rajam was the first Chairman and Sri M. Srinivasan was the first Secretary of the Trust.
